Miranda Desa
Miranda is a lawyer and strategist focused on efficiency and results. She is a creative problem solver and has extensive experience representing clients inside and outside the courtroom to achieve a wide range of goals, often in new and untested areas of law. Miranda has acted for clients at all levels of court in Ontario and is experienced in dealing with the media on high-profile matters.
Miranda specializes in civil and commercial litigation. She assists businesses and professionals with disputes about business law, property law (real and intellectual) and tort law. She is known for her ability to move matters to early resolution as well as her willingness to take a matter all the way to trial, if it is in her client's best interest.
Miranda studied law at Queen's University and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2011. When she is not practicing law, Miranda enjoys spending time with her family, boxing, yoga, and attending musical theatre.
Miranda is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Advocates' Society and the Toronto Lawyers Association.

Zainab Olasege is an Associate at Desa Law, supporting the firm’s civil and commercial litigation practice with a strong foundation in legal research, analysis, and written advocacy.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, with a double major in Biology and Professional Writing.
Zainab’s academic background reflects her ability to approach complex matters with both analytical precision and clear communication.
Before joining Desa Law, Zainab honed her litigation skills at a full-service law firm in downtown Toronto, specializing in civil and commercial litigation.
Zainab brings a detail-oriented, thoughtful approach to her work and is committed to supporting clients through complex disputes with care and professionalism.
Senior Litigation Counsel
Will O’Hara practices as William S. O’Hara Law and acts as counsel to Desa Law.
Will is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Civil Litigation and has decades of experience advising and representing clients in complex real property disputes, professional liability matters, intellectual property issues, and alternative dispute resolution. He is known for his strategic judgment, practical approach, and sound courtroom experience.
He has acted for professionals, businesses, and institutions across a wide range of fields. He holds an LL.B. and a Bachelor of Music from Dalhousie University.
Will is a practicing member Ontario bar and a non-practicing member of the Nova Scotia bar.
Counsel
John Reiterowski practices as JHR Law and acts as counsel to Desa Law.
John is an experienced civil litigator who advises and represents clients in a broad range of complex disputes, including commercial litigation, employment matters, contractual disputes, and regulatory issues.
He is called to the Bars of Ontario and New York State and has experience before private arbitrators, Ontario courts, courts in British Columbia, federal agencies, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
John regularly acts for individuals, professionals, and businesses, with a focus on efficient, thoughtful resolution of disputes.
Prior to his legal career, John served in the Canadian Armed Forces Army Reserve, an experience that continues to inform his disciplined, strategic approach to legal advocacy.
Legal Assistant
Allison Scott is a Legal Assistant with Desa Law, where she supports the firm's civil and commercial litigation practice through file management, document preparation, client communication, and coordinating matters to help ensure each case progresses efficiently.
She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University. Allison's academic background reflects her strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, which she brings to supporting the firm's lawyers and clients throughout the litigation process.

Director of Business Development
Remi Desa serves as Director of Business Development at Desa Law, supporting the firm’s growth through strategic partnerships, client relationships, and referral development. He works closely with the firm’s lawyers to strengthen market presence and support the thoughtful, sustainable growth of the practice.
Remi brings extensive executive leadership experience, including serving as CEO and founder of multiple organizations. He has led businesses through periods of growth, developed long-standing partnerships across public and private sectors, and supported professional services teams in building disciplined, relationship-driven practices. His experience helps Desa Law approach business development with clarity, collaboration, and a long-term perspective.
